About Santiago Moyano:

Third Generation musician, his grandfather Luis Moyano Sr., Vocalist recognized nationally and

internationally as “Great Tenor” for his wide vocal range, and for his great performance of musical pieces

as a soloist. He shared the stage since the 50’s until the 90’s with great artists of the time such as, Rolando

La Serie, Daniel Santos, Alci Acosta, Leo Marini, Roberto Ledesma, Pacho Galán, Lucho Bermúdez, as

Vocalist and Musical Director.

His father, Luis Moyano Jr., began his musical career from a young age guided by his father and

studying at the “Luis A. Calvo Academy of Music” with emphasis on piano and voice. In turn integrated

the best groups in the country, traveling around the world in the 80’s, to date. He has recorded and

worked with great Latin music orchestras, such as; Los Caribe’s, Los Tupamaros, the 8 from Colombia, Los

Alfa 8, recording world-wide hits of the time. In 1996 he was part of the tour “LA FANIA ALL STARS”, the

orchestra with the highest worldwide recognition in Latin music, and salsa. He is currently the main voice

of the “Fruko y Sus Tesos” orchestra, also worldwide recognized orchestra for the song “No Le Pegue a

La Negra, La Rebelión”, making tours around the world every year.
