An evening of songs featuring Prasanna’s guitar collaborations with A.R. Rahman
Prasanna’s guitar playing has remained an important fixture in A.R. Rahman’s songs from 1992’s ‘Puthiya Mugam’ to 2014’s ‘A Hundred Foot Journey’ spanning numerous soundtracks in Tamil, Hindi and English films. For the first time, Prasanna brings a retrospective of selected A.R. Rahman songs that he recorded with him – From July Matham to Patakha Guddi, from Samba Samba to Ye Jo Des, from Kannodu Kaanbadellam to Desi Thoughts and more, spanning styles from Carnatic music to Rock, Funk, Heavy Metal, Flamenco and more.
Prasanna will give a new twist to these beloved songs through his unique arrangements specially created for his wonderful band of top notch musicians – Manu, Itaiguara, Mauricio and Samuel
