La personalidad de los pelícanos.
Synopsis of the book:
La personalidad de los pelícanos is a non-fiction book that tells the recent history of Cartagena, a Caribbean city on the coast of Colombia. It aims to answer the question of how a historical and architectonical jewel –which is what Cartagena is known for— can also be built on racism, classism, and corruption. The book has two storylines, one is a feature that tells the story of democracy in the city, and the second is a memoir of how it was to be born and raised in the 80s and 90s in this particular geography.
